Regular weekly sessions

Ecotherapy and Social and Therapeutic Horticulture drop-in sessions

Join us on a Monday or a Friday for enjoyable, therapeutic, activities of a horticultural nature.

Mondays, 10am-1pm. Help with the maintenance and development of the wilderness site: pruning, weeding, mulching paths, building planters. Create natural artwork, make a fire or simply just be. Drinks available, bring snacks if you feel like it, and all weather clothing and footwear

Fridays, 10am-2pm. Help with the maintenance and development of the organic allotment: cultivating beds, sowing, planting, weeding, maintaining paths, pond and willow arbour.
Make a fire, enjoy a joke and a chat or lie in the hammock.  Pick the produce as it ripens to eat raw, take home for later or cook tasty, healthy, food, over the fire, with whatever is harvested that day!  Drinks available, bring snacks if you feel like it and all weather clothing and footwear.

If you are personally interested in attending either drop-in, or if you would like to discuss the drop-in on behalf of a client, relative or friend, please ring beforehand to have a quick chat and to make sure the particular session is happening. The number is 07517 090915

Introduction to Ecotherapy

Personal Ecotherapy Consultations

The Centre offers one-to-one ecotherapy ‘signposting’ sessions with an experienced consultant.

At times, all of us could do with a little extra help, a dedicated supporter who will listen and help you find the answers you need. Perhaps there is an issue that you cannot decipher, or a situation that is causing you undue stress. Perhaps you are considering changing direction in life but feel uncertain how to go forward, or there are barriers that you are unsure how to move through.

A personal ecotherapy session could help you identify what is troubling you and help you find the right path. It could open up areas that you were unsure about or were shy of addressing. Equally a session could simply help you find the confidence inside yourself to make the changes you know you need to make.

Our experienced consultant will help you make the right choice.

NB. It is important to note these are not counselling sessions, and should not be considered such, but they can help with identifying personal situations that are unclear or personal issues that may need further support.

Sessions take place outside at Stanmer Park and are confidential and informal. Sessions charged hourly; consideration for low income possible.

Team Building/Staff Respite Days

The Centre offers the opportunity for your staff team or department to come and take part in practical tasks that aid the smooth running of the service and ecotherapy activities that bring respite from the 'daily grind'.  The Centre offers 3 packages:
  • rental of the 'wilderness' site with free rein to run the day how you choose and provide your own refreshments
  • rental of  the site and we provide drinks/lunch but you manage/facilitate the day as you choose
  • a fully facilitated team day, agenda to be decided according to your team's needs, drinks/lunch
